Two sisters who started their fashion brand in a garden shed at home in Wales now employ 15 staff and hit turnover of £3m last year.They started to create ‘athleisure’ style clothing aimed at 18–30 years old and every year since the launch they’ve had to relocate to larger premises – growing to a team of 15 at a site in Llay near Wrexham.

As teenagers, the sisters sold vintage clothes on Ebay, and then on fashion marketplace Depop from 2014. Maisie was finishing her A-levels and Alice was working as a junior design engineer at consultancy RDG Engineering when they decided in 2017 to launch their brand. They saved £2,000 from Depop
sales and invested it into their first batch of stock.
